Q: Are my test results kept confidential?

Yes they are. Each staff member must sign a confidentiality contract.

Q: Do I need to make an appointment to have test done?

No you do not need to make an appointment.

Q: Do I need to fast for all test?

No you do not need to fast for all test. You need to fast for Lipid Panel, FBS, Chol-T, Triglyceride, General Health.

Q: Can I receive a copy of my lab report from the laboratory?

Yes. Copies are available on request for a fee.

Q: How long does it take to perform my lab tests?

There are several factors that affect the turnaround time your results;the type of tests ordered is a deciding factor. Upon drawing your sample, we usually let you know the turnaround time or we call you when it is ready.

Q: Can someone pick up my results?

Yes it can be picked up with the presentation of receipt.

Q: Why am I receiving a bill from the lab?

Your physician submitted a request slip and lab work for test(s) to be performed. The test slip was marked patient responsibility for testing. If this is in error please contact your physician so we may correctly bill the appropriate responsible party.

Q: What is a deductible?

This is the amount that is required by your insurance carrier to be paid by the subscriber before health plan benefits will begin to reimburse for services.

Q: Can you bill my secondary insurance?

Yes we can. Please call the lab and ask for the billing department. They will be more than happy to facilitate this request.

Q: How can I pay my bill?

You may send your check or money order directly to the laboratory.
